05/30/2014 OnCall ALS Ambulance (1800-0600):

I'm on the secondary OnCall ALS Ambulance tonight. As of right now the primary truck is out, it might be a busy evening hopefully! Below is a picture of one of our rigs and a Paramedic Fly Car.



Update: Ran one call as the second truck and bumped up to the primary truck at 2100 until 0600 and got two more:

Respiratory Distress: Elderly Male, DNR/DNI, severe respiratory distress, fluid in lungs, per family request transport to hospital. Transported Code 3, treated with CPAP, monitored with EKG, Capnography, and vitals, and started an IV.

Possible CVA/Stroke: Adult male, felt a little weak, no pain, negative Cincinnati Test. Possible dehydration. Transported Code 2, 12 Lead EKG, vitals, and IV with fluid.

Difficulty Breathing: Adult Male, COPD, increased distress, low 02 Sat (70). Transported Code 2, Oxygen Non-Rebreather, Capnography, vitals, and IV.
